ELEVATOR SHOW is an immersive live performance installation and film, staged in and around an elevator, blending experimental sound design, score-based performance, dance-theatre, and clowning. The work aims to cultivate a unique relationship between space and the people within it—a call for closeness. It confronts a visual system of operations and generates a new one through score-based movement, introducing disruption through glitch. By unsettling systematic relations in the context of transition, the piece challenges formal conventions of performance and dance by moving them out of the theater and into the elevator.
